What I Do

How I Got to The Times
I left my tiny town to go to a religious college and wound up getting very curious about what other people believed and why. Eventually that led to journalism, which led to making audio stories in my apartment, which led to a job at the public radio show “Radiolab,” which led to me getting a call a few years ago from Lisa Tobin, editor of audio, asking if I’d like to try and help her answer the question, “What should The New York Times sound like?”
2020欧洲杯官方网站 I’ve had dozens of jobs in my life, including being a dishwasher, a janitor, a roofer, a groundskeeper, a hot dog chief and once – a Kmart Santa Claus.
